Vaporeon

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I was able to write up a pattern for any amigurumis I make.  School kept me pretty busy this past semester and I lost some of the pattern for another pokemon I had made (Axew).  I’ll try and get the other one to you soon but in the meantime, I also finished the much requested Vaporeon.  She is pretty quick to make and very posable.  I have some other big projects on the way so hopefully I’ll be able to finish them before school starts again.  I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year.

Materials:

blue cotton yarn

dark blue caron simply soft yarn

white and cream redheart yarn

black, white and light purple felt

g hook

stuffing

glue gun

Body, Head, Legs

I used WolfDreamers Umbreon pattern to create these parts so I wanted to give her credit.  The link is below to do these parts.

Assembly:

Attach legs to body and head.  Check pictures for positioning.  Attach tail.  The tail should wrap around the body on one side, of your choice.   Attach flippers to the end of the tail with the f/o. facing attaching to the tail.  Sew the dark blue point on to the dark blue part of the head.  Center he point on the part, and sew together.  Then take the mane, center it on the dark blue part of the head and let it extend and wrap around the tail.  Check picture for positioning.  The end of the mane should meet at the start of the flippers.  Take the white collar and wrap it around the neck and sew the starting chains to the f/o. side.  The blue part of the fins should be curled/ bent in half to sew on to the white part of the fins, the long side.  Check picture if confused.  Sew on each piece to the head.  Felt as necessary.

Sorry my assembly is so poor in directions.  If you ever have questions, I’ll be happy to help.

Celebi

In mid-July I went on a trip with Beau’s family to Williamsburg, VA.  Since the trip takes 6 hours for us to make, I of course needed something to keep myself busy while the miles flew by.  About half way into the trip I decided to start crocheting the cute little pokemon Celebi.  I didn’t have the color for the wings with me but by the time we reached the hotel I had all but those wings finished on little Celebi.  After we got back, I finished my part on this pokemon and passed the burden of finishing it to Beau, who was again, a little slow.  He finished him/her up the other day and I think he/she turned out great!  Celebi sits up without propping and looks extremely cute while doing so.  Hope you enjoy the pattern

Lapras

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything.  The past few weeks have been pretty busy and my felter was a little slow in getting me what I needed to finish this. When I started Lapras I meant for her to be a little bigger, but after showing the more compact model to my fiance, he said that he thought it made her seem more cute.  I’ll let you be the judges for yourselves, but personally I like my little Lapras! : )

Chain 3, slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook, sc in last chain. Sew on to head.
Assembly:

Sew all the blue parts of Lapras’ body together.  Check pictures for placement.  I then attached the belly starting from the mouth and sewed my way around.  The bottom parts of the flippers were then attached in any order. (This can even be done before sewing flippers onto body.) Sew on the shell to the back. Position the points of the body like in picture.  (the shell does come out shaped a little awkward but works when sewed on.    Cut out felt and place accordingly.  Also after placing the felt, create eyebrows by chaining as many as needed to cover the top part of the eye.

Wobbuffet

At the same time as I was working on Buizel, I started on another Pokemon that seemed pretty easy to do.  Wobbuffet is probably amongst the most odd of pokemon, but I think his oddness makes him more endearing, plus he was alot of fun to make and pose.  He never really was one I thought I would make, but I have fallen in love with his Wobbish charm: his squinty eyes, huge bizarre grin, and his wide open arms.  (Not to mention his beaver tail).   I feel like I’m sounding crazy but you’ll know what I mean when you make him.

Assembly:

I think the hardest thing is the placement of the head flap on the back of his head.  This part can be stuffed or left unstuffed, that’s up to you.  It should be placed at the top, back part of the head.  Look at the pictures for help.

Attach the bottom nubs to the bottom of the body.  They should be evenly placed around the bottom of the body.  The arms should be attached half way down the body.  I placed wire in the arms so they would be able to do different poses.  The tail is placed above the bottom nubs but centered in the back of the bottom.  Look at the pictures for help if necessary.
