Bullet Bill

Captain Jack took alot out of me.  So I needed a project that would be fun and interesting but easy enough that it wouldn’t drive me crazy.  So I got to looking around at the Mario villains and already having a soft spot for Bullet Bill from MarioKart(MarioKart’s bullet bike)I knew I had to do him.  He didn’t take very long and was actually ready a week ago, but “somebody” was slow on the felt.  I hope you enjoy him as much as I do.

And on a side note, we had the idea for adding a flame behind him similar to the way Charizard’s flame worked in his pattern.  We took a picture so you’d get the idea.

Captain Jack Sparrow If You Please

Now that summer is finally here and the stress of my fourth year in my five year program has passed I found myself able to start a few projects that have been on my to-do-list since I started making my own patterns.  One of them is my most recent pattern, Captain Jack Sparrow!  He wasn’t the easiest one to make, and he has a ton of little details, but in the end he was definitely worth making and I think he turned out great.  It can’t hurt either that I finished him in time for the new film to come out (which is pretty good I must say).  The pattern and pictures are below, but if you need any additional help feel free to send me a message.  If you’re a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean I’d definitely suggest trying him, ever since I finished him I’ve had the theme song stuck in my head.

Materials

blue, brown and buff yarn

black thread

sculpey

needle

felt

G Hook

paint

fabric (white fabric painted to make the colors I desired)

Note*  Boots will be added later, on a different computer.  Thats what happens when I travel back and forth between my fiance’s house.  I just had to post the pattern today for all you POTC fans.  I hope you enjoy.

I wanted a pokemon that I thought would be easy to create.   He is overall very simple and very cute even with his faces.  he is larger than I expected he would be, but thats okay.  I finished him about a month ago as well and I am finally able to post him.  I hope to have more patterns coming soon, school is done Friday!  I’ll be able to crochet alot more and have a nice summer vacation!

Assembly

Attach legs to body as shown in picture.  Attach eggs to the side(top) of the body.  Each egg should be touching each other.  The leaves are then inserted.  I had to add wire to them to keep them up.  They are stuck in the body and hide the extra stuffing that is seen.  I then sewed through all of them and through eggs to keep a better firm arrangement.  Attach felt as necessary and string.

It has been a long time coming.  I’m sorry about the wait.  School is coming to an end, and my computer decided it was time to crash.  Luckily pattern was saved!  He has been done for I don’t know how long but didn’t want to post pictures without having the pattern to go along with it.  He was a request by my fiance and I think he really likes him.
