I’m a really big fan of the Twilight Saga and have made a few twilight themed things before, but for my latest project I thought I’d really aim high and try to crochet Alice. I used an outfit from New Moon as the basis for her and I think it turned out pretty nice.
Materials:
Red Heart black, soft white, and grey(4)
Red Heart crochet thread size 10
Caron Simply Soft Ocean (I used a smaller hook with this to get a tighter stitch)
The body for this amigurumi was found on another website. I thought they had a good foundation for what I was looking for and only tweaked the head. Therefore I am linking to their pattern, in order to give credit to where credit is due.

Head
Sc 6 in magic ring
Round 1: *2 sc in each sc* around (12)
Round 2: *sc 1, 2 sc in next sc* around (18)

Row 4: sc 3 (3). This may look a little wacky but just follow me. The part with the 5 sc will be the part attached to the 27 sc rows that wrap around her to form her coat openining.
Other over the shoulder side
Attach to the 7th crochet that formed the back/top of her shirt. Chain 12, sc in 2nd sc from hook and the next 4 chains (5) Beginning to make the over the shoulder part.
Row 1-2: sc in each sc across (5)
Row 3: sc 4 (4)
Row 4: sc 3 (3).

Sleeves (chain 1 and turn at the end of each row)
Ch 13, sc in 2nd chain from hook and across (12)

I know this is a weird patterns for the boots and could have probably came up with something a little bit better, but I wanted something that would be snug to her food and could still come off.
Ch 11, sc in 2nd chain from hook and across (10)

Row 2: Sc 4, dec, sc 4
Row 3-4: sc in each sc across (9)
F/O and attach to leg. The other half of the boot goes around her foot and will connect to this part.
ch 10, sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each across (9)

F/O. and place around foot and stitch on.
Assembly:
This is very difficult to assemble. You have all of these pieces but have no clue what to do with them. :/
I started off with the leggings and wrapped them around each of her legs and sewed them shut with leftover pieces of yarn. She doesn’t have real pants because they don’t show and she has a shirt to cover them.
I then placed the top part of the boot on first using the same method as the leggings by wrapping and sewing shut. I then took the foot piece and closed the opening around the foot and began to sew up the foot until it reached the upper part of the boot and sewed around it to make it a complete boot.
After that I took the body part of her shirt and wrapped it around her and positioned buttons where they should go after lining it up and was able to make it a buttonable coat. After buttoning I attached the over the shoulder part to the body part of the shirt with the 5 sc’s lining up horizontally with the body.
The white undershirt is sheer fabric I had but felt could be used as her undershirt. I then attached her gloves to her hand making sure part of the hand stuck out. You can make it with or without a thumb. If you want thumb all you have to do is ch 3, sc in 2nd chain from hook and the next sc and attach.
The nose was completed by having a chain 3, sc in 2nd chain from hook and slip stitching into the last one and attaching to the head. The hair you can find tutorials for online.
The scarf was also a piece of that sheer fabric I had on hand and painted splotches on them to match Alice’s.
