Lapras

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything.  The past few weeks have been pretty busy and my felter was a little slow in getting me what I needed to finish this. When I started Lapras I meant for her to be a little bigger, but after showing the more compact model to my fiance, he said that he thought it made her seem more cute.  I’ll let you be the judges for yourselves, but personally I like my little Lapras! : )

Assembly:

Sew all the blue parts of Lapras’ body together.  Check pictures for placement.  I then attached the belly starting from the mouth and sewed my way around.  The bottom parts of the flippers were then attached in any order. (This can even be done before sewing flippers onto body.) Sew on the shell to the back. Position the points of the body like in picture.  (the shell does come out shaped a little awkward but works when sewed on.    Cut out felt and place accordingly.  Also after placing the felt, create eyebrows by chaining as many as needed to cover the top part of the eye.

  1. How big is she? She looks so adorable!

    1. She’s about 6 inches tall.

  2. HI! I was just wonderieng, how long is she?
I’m going to make one for my baby cousin.

quick question: do you have a pattern for a Sandshrew or a phanpy?

  3. Hey, I absolutely adore this pattern! But, I found that the directions for the first round of the belly was a bit confusing.
‘Chain 3 sc in 2nd chain from hook…’

I’m a novice crocheter, and I had some trouble reading this and I realized,
Oh! Chain 3 FIRST and then single crochet!

I was hoping that you could modify this by putting a comma between ‘Chain 3’ and ‘sc in 2nd chain from hook..’

But I loved the pattern!! Thank you so much!

    1. I’m sorry, I’ll fix that. Usually I put a comma, but sometimes I get so excited to post a pattern that I forget to check on those things. Thanks 🙂

  4. I love it! I just want to catch a Lapras and SWIM across a sea. I haven’t played pokemon in SO LONG, but I’m not itching to try out your crochet amigurumi patterns.
