Togekiss

My latest pattern is definitely one of my favorite pokemon.  On Soul Silver he’s a part of my party (lvl 61: Aura Sphere, Fly, Extrasensory, and Metronome for those who are interested), so I had to try and make him.  With a little coaxing from Beau I got to work on him shortly after finishing charizard and had the body and spikes done pretty quickly.  The wings kind of scared me, but Beau and I figured out a way to do them and I think they turned out pretty nicely.  I hope you like him!

Assembly

Attach the white spike in the top middle of the head.  Position the red on the left of the white spike and the blue spike on the right.

Attach the middle feather to the F/O. area created in the body, then attach the other feathers to the side.

Sew the wing on the body.  After making the curl, sew the fastened off end where the body and wing meet.  Keep sewing up the wing but remember to create the bend in the curl as shown in the picture.

Attach feet in the middle of the back.

  2. I found your blog a few minutes. I’m really fascinated, I love your amigurumis! I appreciate the patterns you’ve shared. I’m from Argentina and really understand some English, not too much, but hopefully can translate your patterns.

In these days I’ll start a blog of amigurumi. I have a facebook photo album of my amigurumis. When it is ready amigurumi blog, I share the photos and patterns there that way you can see them.

I send you a big hug. Congratulations for all your great work.

  3. umm i was looking at the pattern, and i didnt get the hair spike part. So you start with either blue or red, and switch to what color? and what does white just keep going mean?
    sorry for all the questions! D;

    1. Sorry that does look confusing. It’s funny how things make sense at first when you write it.
      Since there are three spikes.
one spike you start with red and switch to white when it says “switch color” in Round 6
another spike you start with blue and switch to white when it says “switch color” in Round 6
Lastly there is one spike that is completely white, so you don’t have to switch the color to anything you just keep following the pattern as is.

      Sorry for the confusion! 🙂

      1. ohhh ! i get it ! thanks for clearing that up ! 😀

    1. I really like your Togekiss! Great job 🙂

  5. So I thought I’d give your pattern a go and I got stumped on Rnd 6 of the red/blue spikes. It says to decrease, but you end up with the same amount of stitches as in the previous row. When I sc, dec3, and then sc 5, I had one stitch left over so I ended up with 8 stiches instead of 9.

    1. Round 6 says
      “Round 6: *sc, dc 3, sc 5 (9) switch color ”

dc means double crochet not dec. Close in writing but completely different stitches. I’ve been known to do the same thing when looking at a pattern. Hopefully this helps in making togekiss!

      1. Thank you, that helped. I totally derped right there.

  6. I was going to start Togekiss until I noticed something:

    Body
    Rnd 1
    Rnd 2
    Rnd 2
    Rnd 3-4
